I heard this song at an LP bar when i was travelling in Korea last year and i absolutely loved it! It was so fun and unlike lots of Korean songs of that time? Went to research a little on it and turns out it’s actually a sampling of the original by Perez Prado called Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White released in 1955, while this song was released in 1961! It was writing as a mambo song with a separate version written with lyrics too I believe! Love both the original and this Korean one – just never imagined that this could happen in the 60s you know? Amazing how music was so connected even at that time and the influences different parts of the world had on others. 🙂
