I have been listening to Chinese indie songs lately so i haven’t been doing translations much but here i am to upload some requests that some people have sent in!! For this song, i’ve heard of Lee Younghoon before when he appeared on YHY Sketchbook but i didn’t really listen much to his songs as i don’t listen to ballads/folk as much as i did last time (evidently from my other posts lol,,,). But i love this song! It’s so calming and a little cheery? and the acoustic guitar and whistling sounds in the song makes you feel so at peace. It’s perfect to listen to at night, or on a weekend morning yknow? Yozoh’s voice (i figure it’s the female voice in the song..?) also complements Lee Younghoon’s voice really well?! I think i’m gonna start looking out for his songs more from now on hehe.
Ephermera means “things that exist or are used or enjoyed for only a short time.”. Think that would help to give better context and perspective to the lyrics – what an apt title. :’)
