HAEBARAGIS[R:ENG TRANS] Car, the garden – I Dreamed A Dream

Got this song as a translation request and finally getting down to it! It’s not the most recent album or song from him but it’s definitely still good. Besides this song, my favourite song from this album was Distance and Tallguy too but honestly the whole album is really good because it’s car the garden!!! I love the uniqueness of his voice and his songs – I’ve listened to many other indie artists and have yet to find anyone that matches the unique vibe of his songs and his raspy, husky and chill voice hehe.

The lyrics seem a little abstract and HONESTLY i have no idea what he’s really talking about hahah (or maybe my literature comprehension skills are just limited) but i read somewhere that introduced this song that the song is written based on how forgotten memories suddenly come back to him through a dream and the song is about the emotions and feelings he has when that happens. Parts like “words i couldn’t say” or “laying down in a well hidden street, i danced among the neon signs” probably references to how he acts differently in his dream as he hides away from people in reality. Maybe? I guess an interesting thing about song lyrics is that they will always be open to interpretation haha.
